Prepare the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
In a large saucepan, heat oil. Sauté onions, carrots, and zucchini.
Add meat and cook for five minutes, until browned and broken up.
Add tomato sauce, then fill the empty can with water and add that water to the saucepan.
Add marinara sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil and add spaghetti. Reduce heat and cook about 30 minutes, until pasta is cooked and water has evaporated.

Whenever I make this the bottom layer of the meat sauce gets burned while the pasta is cooking. Any advice ?
Before you add the pasta, lower the heat. You might want to add a bit more water, and you should stir the pot once or twice until the pasta is cooked. The pasta does not need a lot of heat to cook and if there is still enough liquid toward the end of the cooking process, you could close the heat, stir the pot well, put a lid on your pot, and let the pasta absorb the liquid. That will help to distribute the sauce well and prevent the sauce from sticking.
Easy and delicious!
winner!! first meat meal I’ve made in forever that everyone ate!
This was so easy to make and I couldn't believe how delicious it was! My entire family enjoyed it, even the picky eaters! Such a good flavor!
