Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the margarine and sugar.

  2. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined.

  3. Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

  4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

  5. Divide the dough into four equal parts.

  6. Roll each part into sprinkles, creating a long strand.

  7. Cut the dough into half-inch-thick slices and place them onto lined cookie sheets.

  8. Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes.
