Sweet Lokshen Kugel

I always loved my mother’s lokshen kugel. When I got married, it was the first recipe I asked her for. Who knew it was so simple to make? Follow the directions, and it’s a winner every time!

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

  2. Boil the water with sugar, oil, and spices. Then remove from heat and add the noodles. Let stand for 15 minutes.

  3. Add eggs and mix. Pour into a 9×13-inch (23×33-centimeter) pan. Bake for one hour.

Notes:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four to five days. You can also freeze after baking for up to two months.
