Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line muffin tins with paper liners.
For the chocolate batter, first combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the bowl and mix until combined. Set aside.
For cheese filling, beat together ingredients until smooth (I use an electric mixer for the batter and filling, but it can also be done by hand).
Fill muffin cups three-fourths full with chocolate batter. Place two teaspoons cheese filling on top and swirl with a toothpick for a marbleized look. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

These were a hit, thank you!
Is this recipe missing the eggs from the ingredient list?
No eggs needed. I made it a dozen times and they absolutely fine. Everyone loves them. I’m using tulip cases for it.
Do these freeze well?
Yep!
Does it freeze best raw or baked?
love this recipe!! made them a few times
Just made them. Following the recipe (without eggs). It worked perfectly and looks exactly like in the picture
