Turkey Barley Soup
1 pound ground turkey

1 tablespoon Gefen Olive Oil


1 onion, chopped


2 carrots, peeled and sliced


1 teaspoon dried dill


1 teaspoon dried parsley


crack of pepper

1 teaspoon salt, more to taste


dash of celery seed (optional)


6 cups water or broth, such as Manischewitz Vegetable Broth


1/2 cup Gefen Pearl Barley


3/4 cup frozen chopped spinach

Yay! Another supper idea!
So far Rena has never disappointed us so I’m gonna try this as well. Will he soup be too bland if o just use water, leave out the spinach and the celery seeds? Is there any other spice or flavor I can put in?
I’ve left out the celery seed and it was fine. Never tried without spinach but maybe try it and taste and if it’s a bit bland add more spices. So glad you try my recipes and enjoy!!
