A super simple veggie side.
1 onion, diced
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium zucchini, peeled and cubed
3–4 cloves garlic, minced, or 3–4 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
4 ounces Gefen Tomato Sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
Sauté onion in oil until golden brown.
Add squash, garlic, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat for half an hour until squash is soft and most of the water has evaporated.
Add tomato sauce and sugar and cook another five to seven minutes.
