Looking for a great party idea for game day? Introducing… taco shells, but completely reinvented. By making your own taco seasoning, you can tweak the flavors to your liking. Heap on the toppings, you really can’t go wrong with this one! Coolest Mom Award included.
2 pounds ground beef (or chicken cutlets, see note)
3 tablespoons taco seasoning (see below)
1/4 cup water, if needed
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Pereg Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Oregano
1 teaspoon Pereg Paprika
1 tablespoon Pereg Cumin
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
Base: assorted flavors of kosher Doritos, in individual bags
diced red onion
sliced jalapeño
diced tomatoes
salsa
guacamole
parve sour cream
Combine all ingredients. May be multiplied and stored in an airtight container to be used as needed.
In a large skillet over high heat, brown the ground beef while breaking it up into small chunks with a wooden spoon. When the beef is no longer pink, sprinkle in the taco seasoning and mix well. If the meat mixture is too dry, add the water and stir. Simmer two minutes. Remove from heat, set aside.
Crush each bag of chips slightly.
Cut each bag of Doritos open along its side.
Fill with meat and your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Do the doritos have to be seasoned?
I think you can choose whatever flavor of Doritos you like. Is that what you’re asking? I’m not sure I understand your question.
