This is a quick but absolutely delicious dinner! It also reheats fabulously for Shabbat.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 6 medium pitas, cut in half

  • 1 pound minced veal

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic

  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon smoky paprika

Directions

Prepare the Veal Arayes

1.

Mix together all ingredients except pita.

2.

Stuff inside the pita and squish pitas to evenly distribute meat.

3.

Brush pitas with oil.

4.

Grill over medium heat until nicely browned on all three sides – I start by grilling the opening of the pita. Check for doneness with meat thermometer.
