Ingredients

Totty’s Roast

  • salt

  • paprika

  • black pepper

  • chili powder

  • water

  • roast – 2nd cut brisket or French is best

  • coke or wine (optional)

  • 2 onions, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • oil

Directions

Prepare the Roast

1.

Slice the onions and lay them in your pan.

2.

Lay the meat over the onions.

3.

Drizzle with oil.

4.

Sprinkle the spices (you can rub them in if you want).

5.

Add the cloves of garlic around.

6.

Add water – and cola/wine. It should cover the meat halfway.

7.

Cover the pan with aluminum foil.

8.

Put the whole pan into another pan and cover with 3 layers of foil – REALLY TIGHT.

9.

Bake on 350 for 5 hours.
