You already know you love teriyaki salmon; this version adds even more flavor. And, you won’t be missing your own party to prepare this delicious fish appetizer. Yield: 12 salmon skewers
1/2 cup sesame teriyaki sauce (you can also use plain teriyaki sauce such as Haddar Teriyaki Sauce)
1/3 cup Manischewitz Honey
2 teaspoons oil
1/4 teaspoon fresh minced ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
3 (4- to 6-ounce) salmon fillets (about 1 and 1/2 inch thick), cut into bite-sized cubes
In a medium bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey, oil, ginger, nutmeg, and garlic.
Divide the sauce into two. Half the sauce will be reserved to use as a dipping sauce.
In a bowl or resealable plastic bag, combine salmon and marinade. Marinate salmon in the refrigerator for one hour.
Meanwhile, soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
Thread one piece of salmon onto each skewer. Place salmon skewers in a baking pan.
Preheat oven to broil. Broil salmon until fish flakes easily, about six to eight minutes per side, brushing often with the marinade.
Garnish each salmon skewer with an olive and serve alongside dipping sauce.
