A special occasion dinner or Yom Tov recipe. Tasty and delicious, everyone’s plates are licked clean. No one would dream how easy it is to make!
about 3-4 lb plate flanken
1 onion, sliced in rounds
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp onion soup mix
Place the sliced onion into a pan and place the meat on top. Cover tight. Bake on 350F for 2 and 1/2 hours.
Meanwhile mix the remaining ingredients together. Then pour sauce over meat and bake for additional 20-25 minutes uncovered.
