A sweet and simple recipe for soft and tender baked sweet potatoes.
3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon oil
4 Golden Delicious apples
1 tablespoon Heaven & Earth Lemon Juice (optional)
1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
Place sweet potatoes, water and oil into four-quart saucepan. Cook until tender but firm.
Peel and core apples. Cut into halves. Add to sweet potatoes.
Add lemon juice and cinnamon. Cook additional five minutes. Do not overcook.
Serve warm with the apples over the sweet potatoes.
