3 pounds short ribs
2 medium onions, sliced
kosher salt, for sprinkling
Gefen Black Pepper, for sprinkling
1/4 cup Gefen Ketchup
2 garlic cloves, crushed or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon or other red wine
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place onions in a roasting pan and top with ribs. Sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper.
In a small mixing bowl, combine ketchup, garlic, onion powder, and brown sugar. Smear ribs with the mixture. Pour red wine over ribs. Cover tightly and bake for three hours.
