You can actually put all these ingredients in your blender or Ninja cup the night before, and just whirl them together in the morning. So refreshing, and full of healthful ingredients that are concealed
by the flavor of the strawberries. I love that it has no sugar! Your kids will leave the house with a smile when you hand them a cup of this. Treat yourself to a serving as well!
Yields 2 adult portions or 4 kid portions
1 very full cup frozen strawberries
small handful cut-up Beleaves Frozen (or fresh) mango
1/2 small/medium banana, preferably frozen
1/2 cup naturally sweetened yogurt (if unavailable, sub with plain yogurt + 1 tablespoon Gefen Honey, or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste
1 rounded teaspoon ground flaxseed
very small handful fresh parsley (optional but highly recommended)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons Gefen Almond Butter
1 cup good-quality orange juice
Place all ingredients in your blender or Ninja. Process until smooth. (If your Ninja cup isn’t big enough, you might have to do it in shifts.)
This keeps in the fridge for up to 24 hours. If you plan on storing it, it’s best to put in a glass container or jar, covered.
