This sweet salad with fresh strawberries and salty feta cheese is a great party salad or first course appetizer.
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Gefen Olive Oil
1 teaspoon water
4 cups salad greens
1/4 cup crumbled Ta’amti Feta Cheese
4 slices French bread or sliced baguette (optional)
Combine strawberries, vinegar, and sugar in a bowl; toss well to coat. Cover and chill for one hour.
After one hour, pour liquid from strawberries into a jar. Add oil and water to jar and shake well until dressing is mixed.
Arrange salad greens on salad plates. Top each plate with half a cup strawberries, two teaspoons dressing, and one tablespoon feta cheese. Serve with French bread.
