This amped-up cream cheese and lox is perfect for a special Sunday brunch (or will make any day special when you serve it). The whipped, seasoned cream cheese is spread over Tuscanini’s soft and flavorful fresh focaccia bread and topped with piquant smoked salmon and punchy capers and red onions and classic tomatoes, cucumbers, and dill. It’s a party in every bite.

Ingredients

Smoked Salmon and Goat Cheese Flatbread

  • 1 package Tuscanini Focaccia

  • 4 ounces soft chevre goat cheese

  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  • 1 tablespoon seltzer

  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped chives

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 ounces kippered or hot smoked salmon, flaked

  • thinly sliced cucumber

  • halved cherry tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon capers

  • 2 teaspoons everything bagel spice blend

  • fresh dill, to garnish

Directions

1.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the goat cheese, cream cheese and seltzer. Stir in the chives, lemon zest, and black pepper until well combined.

2.

Spread the cream cheese mixture on the Tuscanini Focaccia. Top with red onion, salmon, cucumber slices, tomatoes, and capers. Sprinkle with bagel spice and top with fresh dill. Slice and serve.
