8 ounces (226 grams) frozen strawberries
1 cup sugar, or to taste
1 (3-oz./85-g.) pkg strawberry jello
2 cups warm water
5 cups water
juice of 7 lemons, or 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Place strawberries and sugar in blender or food processor; blend until smooth. Add jello powder and warm water and blend until smooth and fully incorporated. Pour into large pitcher and add water and lemon juice. Stir until well combined. Chill until ready to serve; mix again before serving.

Jello?? Can I leave out the strawberry jello in this recipe?
Yes, it probably adds thickness and sweetness so you may need to adjust the flavors. There is also a jello-free option in the note.
