6 slices salmon
2 cups water
1 cup vinegar (use gluten-free if needed)
2 onions, sliced
pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar
15 cloves
1 and 1/2 ounces raisins
10 bay leaves
Bring all ingredients for marinade to a boil.
Add fish slices, cook for 20 minutes.
Refrigerate for 24 hours prior to use.
