Submitted by Chaya B Goldberger   This recipe can be used with any other cut of steak you prefer.

Ingredients

Savory French Steak

  • 4 slices French steak

  • 6-7 garlic cloves, cracked to release juices

  • oil

  • salt, to taste

  • pepper, to taste

  • pinch of rosemary

  • Montreal steak seasoning

  • half an orange, quartered

  • 5-6 pearl red onions

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1/4 cup red wine

Directions

Prepare the Savory French Steak

1.

Marinate steak in rub of oil, rosemary, spices and garlic cloves.

2.

Remove garlic cloves to prevent burning and sear for 3 minutes on each side.

3.

Add rest of ingredients and bake covered on 350 for 3 hours. Check halfway through if it needs to be flipped to the other side.
