This side is super light and easy, especially if you’re using bags of pre-shredded cabbage.
3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/2 cup Gefen Panko Crumbs
2 teaspoons salt, divided
2 16-ounce (450-gram) bags shredded cabbage, or one head Napa cabbage, cleaned and cut into thin strips
1 10-ounce (280-gram) bag shredded carrots, or about 3 large carrots shredded on large holes of a box grater
1 tablespoon Glicks Soy Sauce
In a large frying pan, heat one tablespoon oil.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add panko crumbs and one teaspoon salt and cook until lightly browned, about seven minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add remaining oil and cabbage and carrots. If your pan is too small, cook in batches. Sauté, stirring every few minutes, until soft and some pieces are beginning to brown, about 10 minutes. Season with remaining salt and soy sauce. Cook one more minute.
Transfer to a platter and top with crumbs.

is this freezerable
Yes the cabbage is, but I would freeze it without the crispy garlic crumbs and add them last minute.
Made this because I had a bag of mixed cabbage with carrots in my fridge that I didn’t know what to do with (substituted that for the separate bag of cabbage and carrots). This came out delicious. Was so easy to make- looking forward to serving it as a side dish again.
