What’s for dinner? What can you make that everyone in the house will enjoy? Try these perfect go-to salmon burgers. Easy to make. A family favorite, and as easy as can be! Yields: 15 Burgers

Ingredients

Salmon Burgers

  • 1 tablespoon Gefen Cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds, for coating the sides of the burgers

Directions

Prepare the Salmon Burgers

To a large bowl, add the ground salmon, dill, and scallions. Next, add lemon juice to bowl. Blend in mayo, cumin, salt, and almond flour. Mix all ingredients together and then let mixture rest for 20 minutes.

Portion out salmon mixture, making three-inch burger disks. Dust the round edges of each burger with sesame seeds.

3.

Heat up a grilling pan. Grill on each side two to three minutes until brown.

Is the ground salmon from cooked fresh salmon? How shoud I ground the salmon?

The salmon if fresh ground, not cooked. If you have a meat grinder attachment to your mixer, you could use it, although you should be sure to clean the attachment immediately, and check it well before using the attachment for meat. You could probably find ground salmon in the supermarket.
