Wondering what to do with all those leftover boxes of cereal as we get closer to Passover? How about using them to top these tasty, all-purpose cookies? Watch 4 Amazing Things to see all 4 of Victoria’s unexpected ways to use up cereal!
1 and 1/4 cups Glicks Flour
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Pure Vanilla Extract
Fruit Loops, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, or cereal of choice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line two baking sheets with Gefen Parchment Paper.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat to combine.
Add flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda.
Place rounded tablespoons of dough two inches apart on baking sheet. Press in cereal on top. The cookies will spread a lot, so try to press cereal into as many spots as possible. The cereal can, alternatively, be mixed into the dough.
