1 pickled tongue
4–6 cloves garlic
1 onion, sliced
Place tongue into pot, add water to cover. Bring to a boil, cook for five minutes.
Pour off water. Add garlic, onion and water to cover.
Cook for two and a half to three hours. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
