Looking for a fun Motzaei Shabbos activity? Try these personal pizzas. Instead of the traditional mozzarella topping, they’re topped with tomatoes and onions for a fun change of pace.
4 cups flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup cottage cheese
16 ounces (500 grams) Tuscanini Crushed Tomatoes
1 and 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cloves garlic, minced or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon Gefen Oregano
3 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
4 tomatoes, sliced
2 red onions, sliced
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Mix all dough ingredients together until you have a soft, pliable dough.
Roll out and cut into 4×6-inch (10×15-cm) rectangles. Arrange on a Gefen Parchment-lined baking sheet.
In a separate bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Spread sauce on the dough rectangles.
Arrange tomato and onion slices on top.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until pizza is golden.
Yields 10–12 mini pizzas

Great for dinner I used the dough in this recipe to make regular pizza. My kids really enjoyed helping to put the dough and pizzas together, it was quick with minimal fuss, and everyone ate happily (though I wouldn’t necessarily serve it to company I wanted to impress). I used whole wheat pastry dough (80% whole wheat) and we improvised with different toppings.
We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed this recipe with your kids!
