sprinkles or other fun topping
1 cup granulated sugar (use more if desired)
2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted
Sprinkle approximately a quarter cup of sugar onto the counter.
Unfold one sheet of puff pastry and lay on top of the sugar.
Sprinkle approximately a quarter cup sugar and sprinkles on top of the puff pastry sheet.
Roll the pastry out.
Lay the second sheet of puff pastry on top of the first and sprinkle with additional sugar and sprinkles.
Roll the pastry out.
Roll the sides of the pastry towards the center.
Put the rolled dough into the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pull out of the freezer and slice dough. Place the slices onto a tray lined with parchment paper. If you want to sprinkle the slices with extra sugar and sprinkles, go for it!
Bake for approximately six to eight minutes or until lightly brown on one side then turn the slices over and bake on the other side for approximately six to eight munutes. Enjoy!
