Passover “Knishes”

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper (optional)  

Directions

Prepare the Knishes

1.

Sauté onion in liberal amount of oil.

2.

Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth.

3.

Form into balls or scoop and place onto cookie sheets.

4.

Brush with egg.

5.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Variation:

Bake in eight- x eight-inch or nine-inch round baking pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

making this not for pesach, should I use flour? corn starch? how much should I use?

I think you should be able to use 1 cup of flour instead.
