Savory and sweet, this snack mix is the perfect treat while watching the big game!

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1- 12.4 ounce box of cheddar cheese crackers

  • 7 ounces of veggie straws or chips

  • 6 ounces honey whole wheat nut o’s or neutral honey wheat cereal

  • 1- 17.3 ounce package of chocolate shortbread cookies, broken into pieces

  • 1 bag baked potato crisps, broken into pieces

  • 1- 12 ounce bag of seasonal colorful coated chocolate

  • 1- 13 ounce bag of football shaped candy corn

Directions

Prepare the Party Snack Mix

1.

Open contents of all ingredients.

2.

In an oversized clean rectangle food storage plastic container, one and 1/2 gallon or larger, begin to assemble the ingredients almost like a lasagna.

3.

First, pour an even layer of the crackers, then the veggie straws and cereal, next add the cookies, and add the baked potato crisps. Combine the mix together, carefully mixing by hand all of the ingredients. Layer the seasonal candy and footballs.

4.

Using a large plastic cup, disseminate ingredients into goodie bags or smaller containers.

Notes:

Get creative, adjust the ingredients to suit your personal taste! Try different cereal, cookies, peanuts, and peanut butter filled pretzels. Find football and sports shaped candy, cookies or crackers are so fun to add, too.
If you have dietary concerns, you can adjust this recipe for allergies, vegan or gluten-free restrictions, just watch out for all of the labels.
The Game Day Snack Mix makes approximately two-three 64 oz. large food storage plastic containers, depending on your selections.
