2 medium onions, sliced
4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
4 slices white fish of your choice
1 cup peas, fresh or frozen (optional)
2 carrots, sliced (optional)
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place onion in large skillet and dot with butter.
Arrange potato slices, sprinkle with salt, and dot with butter.
Place peas, carrots and fish slices into pot. Dot with butter.
Cover tightly and cook low heat for one hour or until tender, adding minimal amounts of liquid if necessary. Serve warm.
