1 and 1/2 ounces Boondocks Bourbon (or any whisky)
3/4 ounce Tuscanini Lemon Juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water)
1/2 ounce red wine, such as Jeunesse Cabernet Sauvignon
lemon peel, for garnish
ice
Add bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass.
Slowly pour red wine over the back of a spoon to make it float on the top. Garnish with a strip of lemon peel.
