You can keep this recipe as is or dress it up by using different types of exotic mushrooms. If you want to achieve a cozy flavor, you can even add a pinch of nutmeg. The good news is that it will be delicious either way, so jazz it up however you like and enjoy!
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
pinch of oregano
3 tablespoons Glicks Flour
1 teaspoon Knorr Mushroom Soup Mix
1 and 1/2 cups whole milk
Tuscanini Pasta of your choice, cooked and drained according to package directions
Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan.
Add sliced mushrooms, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
Sauté, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are soft and browned, about 10 minutes.
Add flour and mushroom soup mix. Mix to incorporate.
Add milk, half a cup at a time, stirring frequently as sauce thickens.
Taste and add additional seasoning if needed.
Pour mushroom sauce over pasta. Toss to coat and enjoy!
