4 carrots, sliced
3 sweet potatoes, cubed
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water
Place all ingredients into four-quart pot and cook over low heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add minimal amounts of water if necessary.
When soft, mash well.
