This unique mix of ingredients provides great taste and texture, providing a great brisket for Shabbos or a special occasion.
brisket
1 11-oz can of mandarin oranges with liquid
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup poppy seeds
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Sprinkle on salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder into the brisket evenly on both sides.
Add in the mandarin oranges and liquid.
Pour on the soy sauce.
Add in the poppy seeds.
Cook for 1.5 – 2 hours depending on size.
