6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1 and 1/4 cups oil
3 cups Mishpacha Flour
4 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup Gefen Cocoa
1 and 1/2 cups hot water
Beat eggs, sugars, and oil for three to five minutes.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Add to batter, alternating with water.
Pour into lined 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
Let cool completely before frosting. Paula Shoyer’s Parve Cream Cheese Frosting would be a delicious option! Top with chocolate lentils if desired for a cheery, colorful appearance.
