A perfectly simple and delicious weeknight pasta dish.
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon chopped garlic or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 (16-ounce) package linguini pasta, cooked according to package instructions
Parmesan cheese (optional)
chopped parsley (optional)
In a saucepan over a medium flame, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for one minute.
Add lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, and salt. Reduce heat and simmer for two minutes.
Pour sauce over pasta and toss. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Once individually plated, you can add an additional splash of lemon juice and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
