Ingredients

Hot Pepper Jam Hummus

  • juice from 1 lemon (or about 3 tablespoons Tuscanini Lemon Juice)

  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil, plus more for topping

  • 1 teaspoon Tuscanini Pepper Jam, plus more for topping

  • 3 tablespoons ice water, to thin

To Serve

  • 1 tablespoon Gefen Sesame Seeds, for topping

  • handful of toasted almonds roughly chopped, for topping

  • handful of sunflower seeds, for topping

  • handful of freshly chopped parsley, for topping

  • flower petals, for topping (optional)

  • breadsticks and crackers, for serving

Directions

In a food processor, add the chickpeas, garlic, almond meal, onion powder, salt, lemon juice, sesame oil, and Pepper Jam. Blend until smooth and then slowly trickle in the ice water until the mixture is completely smooth and silky.

Spread hummus onto a platter and top with more jam, sesame oil, almonds, sunflower seeds, parsley, and optional flowers. Serve with breadsticks and crackers.
