Honey Cake with Apples (Big-Batch)

Directions

Prepare the Honey Cake

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add one and three-fourths cups sugar and continue beating until peaks form. Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.


     

  2. Beat yolks and remaining sugar. Add oil and honey. Continue beating until light and fluffy. 

  3. Add baking powder and baking soda cinnamon and three cups flour. Gently fold batter, remaining flour, and apples into beaten egg whites. 

  4. Divide into three tube pans and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.

Yes, you should be able to do half the recipe. You may need to change the baking time.
