This schnitzel is bursting with flavor and kid friendly. Take your schnitzel up a notch with a honey bbq twist (gluten-free) and a fun Chanukah doughnut shape. It’s simple to make! (psst – I won’t tell if you make the schnitzel without creating the doughnut shape – it tastes just as great 😉 Submitted by Yael Dolinger
3 thinly sliced cutlets
1/4 cup honey
2 eggs
4 small bags bbq potato chips, crushed
honey, to drizzle
sesame seeds
salt
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
On a plate whisk together eggs, 1/4 cup honey and some salt.
On a separate plate, pour your crushed chips.
Sprinkle salt on both sides of your cutlets.
Coat all three cutlets in egg and then in crushed chips.
Form a ring with the breaded cutlets by twisting the ends of each cutlet together.
Coat the ring in egg and then crushed chips again.
Drizzle breaded ring with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Fry in canola oil on each side until golden brown.
Mix together mayo, honey and ketchup. Enjoy!
