Ingredients

Honey Balsamic Chicken Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika

  • salt

  • fresh, cleaned cilantro, for garnish

Directions

1.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, balsamic glaze, tomato paste, honey, and lemon juice. Add the garlic, thyme, oregano, and sweet paprika. Whisk again to combine.

2.

Hammer the chicken flat and add to balsamic glaze marinade.

3.

Heat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the chicken for 30 minutes.

4.

Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!

Looks yummy! 2 questions-
1. does the chicken need to sit in the marinade for any length of time before cooking?
2. What is balsamic glaze/how do you make that?

Hi Shira,

  1. according to the recipe, it doesn’t look like the chicken needs to be marinated for a specific amount of time, but the longer you leave the chicken to marinate, the more flavorful it will be.
  2. the balsamic glaze ingredients are included above (all the ingredients besides the chicken).
