Aside from its gorgeous color and rich consistency, the flavor and health benefits of this delicious smoothie make it a first choice for that lazy summer eve, when you just want dinner to be over before it’s begun!
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup ice cubes
1 Greek lemon yogurt
2 tablespoons oat bran (gluten-free, if needed)
2 tablespoons sliced raw almonds
3/4 cup milk (I used skim)
1/4 cup orange juice
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and thick. Serve immediately.

I simplified it and left out the almonds, oat bran, ice, and most of the milk, and it was delicious!
I just put in 1/4 cup of orange juice, 1/4 cup of 1% milk, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, and the lemon greek yogurt. It took just a few seconds (literally) to blend, and it’s the perfect consistency of a thick smoothie that’s drinkable through a smoothie straw. What I made came out more to 1-2 servings, but I put fewer ingredients in, so that makes sense.
