This sweet lokshen kugel just takes a few minutes to put together and is a delicious addition to a Shabbos or Yom Tov meal. The kugel is moist but you still get those crunchy carmalized pieces on the top and sides that everyone loves to pick at!
11 ounces Manischewitz Fine Noodles, cooked and drained (without salt)
11 ounces Manischewitz Wide Noodles, cooked and drained (without salt)
6 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup bread crumbs
4 tablespoons vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup oil
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
2 apples, grated
Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
Pour into a 16×10″ pan and bake, covered, for one and 1/2 hours, at 350°F.
