Some occasions simply require a homemade touch. With a mixer, you’ll find traditional gefilte fish loaves simple and approachable to prepare.
8 eggs
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon Pereg Pepper
1/2 cup Yehuda Matzo Meal
3/4 cup water or seltzer
2 medium onions, grated
5 pounds ground fish
2 teaspoons salt
Place first seven ingredients into large mixing bowl. Mix with dough hook attachment for 10 minutes.
Add salt, mix for additional five minutes. Divide into five loaves, wrapping each in Gefen Parchment Paper.
Cook in a wide pot with two inches boiling water for about an hour and a half.

Dough hook I don’t have a dough hook, can I use my hands to mix it (Obviously I will wash them well with soap beforehand)
Use gloves (Like the surgical). I always mix the fish by hand. You just have to make sure that everything is blended in completely.
