These smelled so amazing in the oven—they definitely didn’t disappoint!
Yield: 14 twists
1/4 cup oil or butter
3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 cube Gefen Frozen Dill
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon thyme
2 sheets Gefen Puff Pastry, thawed
2 cups shredded cheese
1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine oil/butter with garlic, dill, and spices.
Lay out one puff pastry sheet. Brush spice mixture onto the pastry sheet. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Lay the second puff pastry sheet on top of the cheese. Cut in half horizontally and then cut vertically into seven strips each. Twist each strip and place on prepared baking sheet. Brush twists with beaten egg.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
