I started making Muddy Buddies 14 years ago and never stopped; it’s a weekly Shabbos staple in my house. When I have extra treats lying around that I want to use up, I add it to the mixture for a snack that’s even more fun.
1/2 cup Gefen Peanut Butter
1 9-ounce bag chocolate chips
9 ounces Corn Chex (3/4 box)
2 cups cinnamon cereal, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch
handful chocolate-covered pretzels (optional)
mini pretzels (optional)
colored lentils (optional)
toffee candies (optional)
butterscotch-flavored chips (optional)
any other nosh you want to use up
Place chocolate and peanut butter in a 9×13-inch pan. Cover and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add cereal and mix.
Add confectioners’ sugar.
Add snacks and mix.

There does not seem to be chocolate in the ingredient list, but there is in the instructions.
Yes. Should be 1 9-oz. bag of chocolate chips. We’ll correct the recipe.
