Ingredients

Frozen Berry Bowl

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 and 1/2 cups frozen berries

  • a few splashes of unsweetened (vanilla) plant milk

Toppings (optional)

  • granola (gluten free if needed)

  • chopped nuts

  • fresh fruit

  • shredded coconut

  • chia, hemp or ground flax seeds

Directions

Prepare the Frozen Berry Bowl

1.

Blend frozen banana with berries. (I love using my Vitamix for this!)

Add a splash or two of unsweetened (vanilla) plant milk to move things along till creamy. Top with toppings of choice.

3.

Best served immediately, but can be refrigerated or frozen for later use.

Variation:

  Try with frozen blueberries, açaí, cherries, mango, peaches, or strawberries.  For soft serve ice cream, use two whole bananas, cut into chunks.
