One of the best things about these fried cheese ravioli is that you can keep a bag in your freezer and pull it out whenever you’re in the mood to make them! Serve these alongside a big salad, and you’ve got a special and delicious meal.
1 (15-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, such as Glicks
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus additional for garnish
oil, for frying
fresh or dried parsley, for garnish
Tuscanini Marinara Sauce, for serving
Thaw ravioli for 30 minutes.
Prepare a dredging station with flour in one bowl, whisked egg and milk in a second bowl, and bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan in a third bowl.
Heat half an inch of oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Dip each of the ravioli into flour, egg, and then bread crumbs. Fry for one to two minutes per side, until golden, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
When ready to serve, garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
