We’re big fans of instant gratification on Motzaei Shabbos, so anything we don’t have to make from scratch is usually a winner!
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup Haddar Brown Sugar, divided
1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon, divided
6–10 rolls of your choice, such as challah rolls, hamburger buns, or dinner rolls (not raw)
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream or whole milk
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream or whole milk
2 tablespoons butter
splash Gefen Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Add butter to the bottom of a nine-inch (23-centimeter) round or 9×13-inch (23×33-centimeter) pan, depending on how many rolls you’re using, and place it in the oven to melt. Add 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the pan and combine with the melted butter. Place the rolls on top and poke holes in them.
Combine the eggs, heavy cream or milk, and the rest of the brown sugar and cinnamon and pour it over the rolls. Using a fork, firmy press down on the rolls to get the egg mixture in. Bake for 20 minutes, or until it seems like most of the liquid was incorporated.
Place cream cheese frosting ingredients in a container. Blend to combine with an immersion blender on medium speed for about two minutes.
Coat the rolls in cream cheese frosting and enjoy!
