Ingredients

French Delmonico Roast

  • 1 (5-pound) French roast

  • 2 Spanish onions, sliced

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 1 packet onion soup and dip mix

  • 1 cup oil

Directions

Prepare the Roast

1.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

Place onions in the bottom of a pan. Top with garlic and the roast.

3.

Pour seasoning packet over roast and rub all around. Pour oil over roast.

4.

Cover pan tightly and bake (low and slow) four to five hours, until fork-tender.
