Pasta is a popular food and so versatile. It’s fun to find new ways to serve it. We found this to be a sophisticated and tasty dish.
1 and 1/2 pounds broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 pound linguine
5 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil
2 medium cloves garlic, minced or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/8 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes, optional`
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
Cook broccoli in a large pot of boiling, salted water, just until crisp-tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and rinse.
Cook pasta until tender-firm (al dente), and drain well.
Heat oil in heavy, large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; stir 1 minute. Add pepper flakes, if desired. Combine. Add broccoli; stir another 2 minutes.
Add pasta to skillet; toss well. Add lemon juice and cheese; mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts and serve immediately.

Festive linguine Can I make this a day before, so fridge it and then warm it up?
You definitely can! I would warm it up on the stovetop though and if you can’t then be sure to keep mixing it on the warming plate so it doesn’t burn!
