Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • pinch of salt

Directions

Prepare the Granola

1.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with Gefen Easy Baking Parchment Paper.

2.

Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl and then press into the cookie sheet.

3.

Bake for 40 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through baking time.

4.

Cool completely and break into chunks. Store in an airtight container.

Substitute What substitute can you use for maple syrup? Would honey work?

Esty’s Simple Granola – add-ins options Are the add-ins (raisins, chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, rice krispies) added in before the cooking stage or after? You mentioned reducing the amount of oats per amount of nuts – is that true for all add-ins? Is there a way to make this into bars? perhaps adding an egg to bind?

Brown sugar is usually packed. It come light and dark. There is an easier granulated variety, but I don’t think Esti means that one.

Made it with Honey, Nuts, and Craisins and came out delicious! It was so much fun that from one recipe I got some granola bars (chunks) and plenty of granola!

This granola has literally moved into my house! I make it every week and we finish the lot; love how it is so easy to customize to your needs. By the way using honey instead of the maple syrup does result in a more crumbly granola but tastes yum too. Thanks Esty!! x

Geshmak! Awesome granola recipe! Really does make the house smell good. I really recomend this recipe with yogurt but totally fine and wholesome without!
