1 cup warm water
3 cups plus 1 tablespoon Shibolim Spelt Flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Gefen Yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons margarine melted
1 and 1/3 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons melted margarine
1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Gefen Parsley Flakes
In the bowl of a mixer, combine the water, yeast, and sugar. Wait for five minutes until the yeast is bubbling.
Add the melted margarine and gradually add the flour. Mix on low speed for 10 minutes.
Remove the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 12 portions.
Roll each piece of dough into eight-inch logs.
Place the logs on lined baking sheets (divide into two sheets), cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
Prepare the topping by putting all the ingredients in a small bowl.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately brush with melted margarine mixture.
